Update on COVID-19

People have many questions about the Coronavirus. Crossroads is taking necessary precautions to ensure better health for everyone.
Here is a guide to protecting yourself against the Coronavirus:
  • Wash hands (20 seconds at least)
  • Avoid touching your face (eyes, nose and mouth)
  • Cover your mouth when sneezing/coughing
  • Instead of shaking hands use elbow bumps
  • Avoid close contact with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms
  • Stay informed about the virus
  • If you’re not feeling well, please stay home
Here at Crossroads, we are taking the necessary steps to maintain a clean and healthy environment:
  • Disinfecting high traffic areas such as phones, door handles, computers, bathrooms and volunteer booths
  • Asking employees and volunteers to stay home if they are not feeling well
  • Providing hand sanitizer, soap and disinfectant cleanser
  • Limiting services to essential basic needs such as food, clothing and hygiene products- limiting hours of operation
  • Main Office will be closed on Saturdays
  • Sunday Soup Kitchen will be treated as a take out service, clients will no longer be able to dine in, until further notice
Our mission is to serve the hungry in a safe and clean environment. Our Soup Kitchen will remain open and we will pass out food to our clients as more of a take-out process- passing out lunches at the door.
The need for families is greater than ever. Please consider donating the following:
Help us restock our food pantry: canned tuna & chicken, peanut butter, rice, pasta & pasta sauce, canned ravioli, soup, cereal, macaroni & cheese, canned vegetables & fruit, oatmeal and ramen
Donate Baby Items such as diapers and formula
Hygiene Products: soap, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, toothpaste, hand soap, cleaning & sanitizing supplies, toilet paper and hand sanitizer
Monetary Donations are always welcomed!
Crossroads staff are taking the necessary steps to keep both our clients and volunteers safe.
As more information is available, we will continue to reevaluate the situation.
Thank you.
